"og:title": "Terms of Service · Nuxt SEO" --- Nuxt SEO on GitHub **Last updated August 20, 2026** # **Terms of Service** These terms apply when you use nuxtseo.com, the free SEO tools, or Nuxt SEO Pro. Read them before you create an account. Nuxt SEO is operated by Harlan Wilton. These terms cover nuxtseo.com, the documentation, the free SEO tools, and Nuxt SEO Pro. They also cover the API and the MCP server. If you use any of these, you accept these terms. The open-source Nuxt SEO modules are not covered here. Each module ships under its own MIT licence, and that licence governs your use of the code. ## Accounts You need an account to use Nuxt SEO Pro. You must give an accurate email address and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. An account belongs to a Team. A Team owner can invite members and can remove them. Team members can see the Sites and reports in that Team. The Team owner is responsible for what their members do. You must be 13 or older to create an account. If you accept these terms for a company, you confirm that you can bind that company. ## Plans and billing Nuxt SEO Pro is priced per Site, per month, in US dollars. Monitor costs $9 per Site each month. Growth costs $29 per Site each month. Prices exclude any tax that applies where you are. Stripe processes all payments. We never see or store your full card details. Your subscription renews automatically at the start of each billing period until you cancel it. If we raise a price, the new price applies only to new checkouts. Your existing subscription stays on the price you signed up at. We will tell you before any change that does affect your subscription. If a payment fails, we may retry it. If payment keeps failing, we may suspend the paid features on your account until you fix the payment method. ## Trials We may offer a trial. A trial gives you paid features for a limited time. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and we charge you. You can cancel at any point during a trial. ## Cancellation and refunds You can cancel from your account settings at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you already paid for. You keep access until then. We do not refund partial months by default. If something goes wrong on our side, email us and we will make it right. You can delete your account from account settings. Deletion removes your product data. Some records stay for billing, security, legal, or operational reasons. The [**~~Privacy Policy ~~**](https://nuxtseo.com/privacy) explains what we keep and why. ## What you may analyse Nuxt SEO Pro crawls the Sites you add. It also runs Scans, checks links, and reads Search Console data for those Sites. Only add a Site if you own it, or if the owner has authorised you to analyse it. Do not use the product to crawl or profile a site you have no right to. You are responsible for having that right, and you accept the consequences if you do not. We respect standard crawl controls where they apply. We may still fetch a page you explicitly asked us to check. ## Fair use and limits Each plan includes an allowance for crawling, Scans, keyword data, and AI features. Allowances are shown in the product. We may pace, queue, or cap work to keep the service stable for everyone. The API and the MCP server carry rate limits. Do not try to bypass a limit, share credentials across accounts, or resell raw access to our data feeds. We may contact you before we act on unusual use. If use threatens the service, we may act first and explain after. ## Acceptable use Do not use Nuxt SEO to break the law. Do not attack, probe, or overload our systems or anyone else's. Do not upload malware. Do not try to read data belonging to another Team. Do not use the product to generate spam, cloaked pages, or content designed to deceive a search engine. We may suspend an account that does. ## Your data You keep ownership of your Sites, your content, and the data you connect. You grant us the licence we need to run the service. That licence covers storing, processing, and displaying your data back to you and your Team. We use service providers to run the product, including Cloudflare, Google, Stripe, and DataForSEO. The [**~~Privacy Policy ~~**](https://nuxtseo.com/privacy) lists them and explains what each one receives. We do not sell your data. We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI models. ## Our intellectual property We own the product, the dashboards, the brand, and the site content, except for the open-source modules and your own data. You may not copy or resell the product. You may share screenshots and reports from your own account. ## Third-party integrations You choose which integrations to connect. Each one has its own terms with its own provider. If a provider changes an API, restricts access, or goes down, the related features may stop working. We are not responsible for a third-party service. We will tell you when one breaks something you depend on. ## Accuracy of reports Nuxt SEO reports on search data, crawl results, and performance. The reports are diagnostic tools. They are not a guarantee of a ranking, of traffic, or of revenue. Search engines change without notice. Third-party data can be incomplete or delayed. Check anything important before you act on it. ## Availability We aim to keep the service running, and we do not promise it will never stop. We may take the service down for maintenance. We may change, remove, or replace a feature. If we remove something you rely on, we will give notice where we reasonably can. ## Warranty The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes a right you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or under any other law that cannot be excluded. ## Liability To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profit, lost traffic, lost data, or indirect loss. ## Suspension and termination We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where the breach can be fixed, we will ask you to fix it first. We may act immediately if the breach is serious or puts the service at risk. You can stop using the service at any time. ## Changes to these terms We may update these terms as the product changes. We will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will tell account holders by email. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new terms. ## Governing law These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia. The courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction.
